I hate that I’m a planner, but I’m a planner.
I realized the other day that if I wanted to take a trip to Colorado in September, I better make a plan. So I started to look at dates and realized that I really don’t have any extra weekends, with the exception of Labor Day. And Labor Day Weekend is not a time to visit a National Park.
But I think I have decided that I want to take a trip over Labor Day weekend to Scottsbluff, Nebraska. I would really like to see the Platte River, Scottsbluff National Monument, and Chimney Rock. I am very interested in doing some photography there.
It’s just far enough away that it’s a real road trip, and I’ve wanted to see that area for a long time.
