I have almost definitely probably decided that I will likely get the bright blue fabric for the couch, for sure, maybe.
The couch will look great, and I was testing that blue fabric last night. It’s this spectacular shade that makes everything look good. Colors that don’t really have much life on their own suddenly pop next to this color of blue, and the blue looks good too. How can I say no to something like that?
Plus, I’m making a style commitment to the mid-century furniture. It’s pretty obvious. It’s not like I could use the same couch and then go all Louis XIV up in this joint. It is what it is.
I want to say that I like to redecorate, but I haven’t really done that. I think the most often I’ve redone something is getting new bedding, which I’ve done… three times. Three times in the thirteen years since I left home. That’s not really getting tired of something- that’s just needing new bedding, really.
The blue is going to look great. I know it. I think I might even swing a 10% discount on the pricey fabric, which would be nice.
Inspiration!

How could I go wrong?
One of my major goals with this project is that I want to be done with the living room by the end of July- early August at the latest. New paint, new couch, maybe even a rug if I can find one. I don’t want to still be working on this into the fall, like with all my projects.

I admire how much you get done. You have so many projects and goals and lists and you get ‘er done. Awesome!
