Tomorrow starts a new season of photography for me, which is good. I have done almost no shooting since the holidays, though I have been processing here and there. The last few weeks I’ve been pretty lazy about working- I was reading and watching AFI movies instead!- but I won’t have any excuses now.
I did two weddings with Silver Box Photography last fall, and I was asked last week to assist at another tomorrow, which is great! I am very excited to hit the ground running tomorrow. Next weekend, I have an engagement shoot for an extended family member. And Sunday is Easter- family party time with little girls in pretty dresses looking for Easter eggs… I will definitely bring a camera for that.
I have two weddings lined up for late May and mid-June, and I hope that I can assist with Silver Box about once a month or so throughout the rest of the spring and summer. I guess we’ll see if that works out. I hope it does.
It will be tough in June because of the aforementioned weddings plus the trip to Florida plus, of course, moving Tracy. It will be a lot of work, but things will calm down a lot more in July.
I think I will leave this entry here, and try to take a moment to post a long-overdue entry over at the neglected photo blog!
