Company Cleaning

July 9th, 2008 · 1 Comment · Endless Blathering, Photography

Good lord almighty, it’s been a long damn week.  I can’t believe it’s only Wednesday.

But it’s only Wednesday, and I’ve spent the past three days dutifully cleaning the whole house, hanging things up, putting together the remaining disassembled Adirondack chair, hosing down the filthy patio, and ensuring that Tracy remains at home in recovery for the full week.

That has been a tough one, that there!  You’d think that a damn doctor would understand the healing process, but she was sure she would return to work by tomorrow (Thursday), and I had to go and make her an eye doctor appointment to keep her home.  Also, she didn’t help out with any of the cleaning this week, and why not?  because she was too tired.  so why would she think she’s ready for 12-hour workdays?  No answer.  The logic, it does not follow!

But the house is looking clean and put-together and good, and what isn’t looking clean and put-together and good, frankly I don’t care anymore, because I am tired and ready for an evening off.  I owe some photos and I have another couple of shoots this coming weekend, and it’s time for me to get back into a plan with action, photography-wise.

However, I did run out last Thursday (while Tracy and her mother were napping at home after the second procedure) and hung up my photos in that ‘exhibit’ (not so much) at the Columbia Mall.  It’s really just a hallway with some pictures hanging up, but feel free to go and take a look if you’re in the area.  They should be up until the end of September.  It’s the hallway that leads to the customer service center, with the entrance next to the Gap.

So, tonight!  Family coming to my house for a tour and dessert (I ordered a cake from Uprise Bakery so that I wouldn’t have to mess with food preparations, which are not exactly my strong suit.)  Then, photos!  Photos tomorrow and all weekend, both shooting and processing.  I must get this shit done.

But now, lunch!  Thank you!

Everything looked so in sync. It was a pleasure to gaze upon your rooms.

Thanks for the effort, the fruits of which I hope you enjoyed.
